Belted kingfishers winter and reside year-round throughout the United States and breed far up into Canada and Alaska. They are likely to be wintering only in South Florida and the Southwest U.S. Despite their wide distribution, their actual occurrence depends on the availability of water bodiesfor feeding and a steep bank or hillside to create a burrow for a nest for breeding.
Made from recycled cereal boxes, these earrings are truly unique. They are handmade in Jabebo’s studio in Pennsylvania.
